Earl Brown Web builds websites for local businesses in Philadelphia.
I'm Earl Brown Jr. One person, not an agency. I build your business a complete website — the whole thing, start to finish — and you pay one flat price.
$1,200 Flat. One time. Live in about two weeks.
Philadelphia. I work in East Falls, Manayunk, Roxborough, Abington and the neighborhoods around them.
What you get
Not a list of adjectives. These are the actual things that exist when I'm done.
-
Pages built for a phone first
Most people looking you up are standing on the sidewalk holding a phone. Your site is built for that screen first. It works on a laptop too, but the phone comes first, because that's where your customers are.
-
Real photos of your actual business
I come by and take them, or I use the ones you already have. Your counter, your chair, your bay, your shelves. No stock photos of somebody else's shop and no strangers in suits.
-
Hours and address that are correct
Your real hours, your real address, and a map that opens in one tap. Wrong hours on a website is the fastest way to lose a customer who was already standing outside your door.
-
A contact form that reaches you
Messages go straight to your email inbox. I test it before we go live and again after, from my own phone, so we both know it works.
-
Your Google listing claimed
So when somebody searches your name they get your phone number, your hours and your website — not an old number, not a competitor's ad, not a listing somebody else set up years ago.
-
It loads fast
Your site is plain code with nothing bolted onto it. No heavy plugins, no ad trackers, no pop-ups. It comes up in about a second on a phone using cell data.
What it costs
One number, printed on the page, before you call me. You shouldn't have to sit through a meeting to find out the price.
The website
$1,200 Flat. One time. Nothing added on later.
- Up to five pages — usually home, services, about, contact, and one more you pick
- I write the words. You don't have to hand in homework
- Photos of your business, taken by me or supplied by you
- Built for phones, works on laptops and tablets
- A contact form that emails you
- Your Google Business listing claimed and corrected
- Search basics done right, so Google can actually read your site
- One round of changes after you review it
- Domain and hosting set up, with the logins handed to you
About two weeks from our first conversation to the day it goes live, as long as I can get your photos and your hours.
Optional
$165 a month
If you want me to keep looking after it, this is what that covers:
- Hosting and the security updates
- Small edits — new hours, a new menu item, a photo swapped out. Email or text me and I do it
- Keeping your Google listing current
- I keep an eye on the site, so I usually know it's down before you do
You do not have to take this. The $1,200 site is yours either way. It's your domain, your hosting account, your logins. If you skip the monthly, the site keeps working exactly the same — you'd just handle hosting yourself, or call me when something needs changing. You can decide after it's live.
How it works
Four steps. Most of the work is mine, not yours.
-
We talk
Twenty minutes on the phone, or I come to your counter. What you do, who your customers are, what you want the site to say. No charge and no sales pitch.
-
I build it
I write the text, take the photos and build the whole thing. I'll come back to you for your hours and anything you want worded a particular way. That's all I need from you.
-
You look at it
I send you a link. You go through it and tell me what's wrong or what's missing. I fix it. That round of changes is part of the $1,200.
-
It goes live
I point your domain at it, claim your Google listing, test the form and the phone link, and hand you every login. You own all of it.
Recent work
I've got one client so far and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
HaMashiac Brand Apparel
A Philadelphia clothing brand. I'm rebuilding their site now. It isn't finished, so I'm not linking it yet — sending you to a broken site would tell you more about me than I'd like.
When it's live it goes right here. Until then, call me and I'll walk you through what I built and why.
Get in touch
Calling is fastest. If you'd rather type it out, the form works too and it comes straight to my inbox.
That's my actual phone. Call it or text it. If I don't pick up I'm on a job — leave a message and I'll call you back.
